This project came out of working closely with Zimpler’s AML team and seeing firsthand how intense and detail heavy investigation work can be. Together with a UX colleague and a product owner, I spent time understanding how cases were handled day to day, what slowed people down, and where things easily got messy.

We focused on reducing manual steps, clarifying priorities, and making it easier to follow cases from start to finish. At the same time, the system needed to give the wider organisation visibility into workload, risk, and progress.

The result was a more structured investigation environment that supported both individual analysts and the team as a whole, without getting in the way of the work.
